The Great Indian Heritage Fest was held, for the first time, at Vadodara, and provided an opportunity to revisit the forgotten pages that constitute the Golden Era in Indian history.

The two day mega festival had a B2C exhibition of Heritage Properties, Classic vintage car rally and cultural shows.
The function was attended by 60 members from the Royal families of Gujarat, and 20 members from the Royal families of participating states.

The Indian Heritage Hotels Association, Heritage Hotels Association of Gujarat, Gujarat Vintage and Classic Cars Club and other Regional and National Tour Operators/ Travel Agents Associations like TAG, IATO, TAAI, TAFI and ADTOI participated in the two-day event.

Day 1 of the fest was marked by a per event round table on ‘Gujarat Heritage – The Way Forward’ with the objective of drawing an action plan for the promotion of Heritage Tourism in the state. The round table was attended by the representatives of Gujarat Tourism, local administration, royal family members, and consultants from ASI & FICCI.

On Day 2 a vintage & classic car rally consisting of 40 cars was flagged off by Shri Saurabh Patel. Classic cars some from the era of 1936, like – Impala, Morris, Sunbeam, Willys were part of the entourage.
