Dussehra or so called Dusshera marks end of evil, and is the last day of Navratri ! Barodians celebrate this festival with great way. The ‘Ramlila’ – an enactment of the life of Lord Rama, is held at Polo Ground, on evening of Dussehra. After Ramlila gets over major fire crackers are burnt, and then large effigies of Ravana, his son and brother – Meghnadh and Kumbhakarna are set to fire. The food lovers wait till this day to enjoy garam fafda and jalebi ! It also marks auspicious beginning of many industries and hence people believe to open their shops in shubh muhurat.
